OK, I can't help but put out some nominees for these awards. I'll probably include some awards that you didn't see a few days ago, so don't be too surprised. I just thought them up while writing this.

FFTI Goon Award- Nominees: Colton Orr, Derek Boogard, Ben Eager, Brian McGrattan, Andrew Peters. (award goes to the player who fights best. No bias for offensive skill).
Wow, that was a lot of awards.
Goal of the Day- I found another highlight reel video, as in, it showcases several goals. Check it out.
It's pretty good, although the 9th goal seems to have some glitch.
NOTES:
- Well, I finally saw an NHL record broken live. I was able to watch the final period and two-thirds of Martin Broduer's 48th win. It was a great performance, and, ironically, the man who set the previous record played for the team that Marty beat for #48, the Flyers. Gotta feel bad for Scott Clemensen, though. He may get lots of Cup rings if he plays with New Jersey, but he'll rarely play in a playoff game.
- We could all be wrong. Actually, I hope we are. Almost everyone was sure that Vinny Lecavalier would be the only 50-goal scorer this year, but Dany Heatley has gotten hot late, and needs just one more to equal last seasons total exactly. Last year, Heatley achieved career highs of 50 goals, 53 assists, and 103 points. As of this morning, Heatley had 49 goals, 53 assists, and 102 points.
That's all today! Watch for the FFTI Awards!
